Ingredients
  

  • 2 LBS Fresh Green Beans Trimmed
  • 1 LB Andouille Sausage Sliced
  • 8 OZ Center Cut Bacon Sliced
  • 1 Small Onion Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 5 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 6 Medium Russet Potatoes Peeled & Cubed into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 TSP Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 TSP Nature's Seasoning All Purpose Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, add in your chopped bacon into a cold pan and allow bacon to fully cook. Remove the bacon and set aside in a medium bowl.
  • Next, add the andouille sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside with the bacon.
  • Reduce heat to low and In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add in 2 tablespoons of flour and whisk until flour is cooked out, about 60 seconds. Add your chicken broth in and stir to ensure there are no lumps from the flour. Bring broth to a boil.
  • Add the green beans to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and garlic and broth. Be sure to add more broth if needed to cover the green beans.
  • Reduce the heat to low and allow to simmer.
  • Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the green beans are tender. Season green beans with Cajun seasoning and all purpose seasoning being sure to taste and adjust. Add in your potatoes and allow to cook until potatoes are fork tender.
  • Return the andouille sausage and bacon to the skillet and stir to combine. SERVE AND ENJOY!
