What ingredients will I need?

Eggs -Eggs bind the ingredients, adding richness and creating a custard-like texture that makes cinnamon roll bread pudding irresistibly creamy.

Whole milk – Whole milk adds creaminess and moisture, helping to create a rich, smooth custard.

Evaporated milk – Evaporated milk provides a thicker, creamier consistency and a slightly caramelized flavor, enriching the custard in bread pudding. You can also substitute with heavy cream.

Light brown sugar – Light brown sugar adds a subtle molasses flavor and sweetness.

Sugar – Sugar sweetens the bread pudding, and creates a golden, caramelized crust on top.

Unsalted butter – Unsalted butter adds richness and a smooth, creamy texture.

Bourbon or Irish whiskey(optional) – Bourbon or Irish whiskey adds a warm, complex flavor, enhancing the richness of the bread pudding with a subtle, aromatic kick.

Ground cinnamon – Ground cinnamon brings a warm, spicy sweetness, giving the pudding its signature flavor.

Vanilla extract – Vanilla extract enhances the overall flavor profile and balances the richness of the pudding.

Kosher salt – Salt balances the flavors of the dish to make for the perfect desert.

Mint – This is an optional garnish for the dish, but adds color for a great presentation.

Cinnamon rolls – This recipe starts with stale cinnamon rolls that are made into the base of the bread pudding. These can be day old cinnamon rolls that need to be brought back to life!
